Absolutely — milestone birthdays are our sweet spot. It's a grown, elevated night out rather than a rowdy college party, built around dinner, dessert and a great room. The guest of honor gets no cover, a free entrée, a free dessert and a free signature mocktail when 5 or more guests each order an entrée.

How big a group can I bring for a birthday?+

From an intimate table to a big-group takeover. You need at least 5 guests who each order an entrée to unlock the free birthday perks, and we happily host much larger parties — just tell us your headcount. For a full buyout of the Lounge or The Garden, see private events.

How much does a birthday at Kakes cost?+

There's no membership or day-pass fee for regular reservations, and the guest of honor eats free with a qualifying group of 5 or more. You only pay for what your party orders. Ticketed special events are the exception.

Is there a private space for a birthday party?+

Yes. Choose the Indoor Lounge, The Garden, or the entire venue for a private birthday party, surprise party or buyout. Start a request on our private events page.
